Most people can not get enough tocotrienols from your diet, so I recommend supplements …
- Be sure to get supplements containing natural vitamin E – not its synthetic form. Vitamin E in the form of all-rac-alpha-tocopherol acetate or alpha-tocopherol dl-should be avoided. There are serious doubts about its safety and if your body even recognize these substances.
- I recommend supplementing with 50 mg of tocotrienols per day . Ideally, the purer the tocotrienol, the better. Some manufacturers of vitamin E tocotrienols and tocopherols combined, another form of vitamin E. Tocotrienols are much better for fighting inflammation that tocopherols. 6
