Small Steps Toward a better treatment
Certain cancer cells overexpress immunostimulatory molecules in liquid form. Such overstimulation has a negative impact on the immune system.
In this study, the researchers focused on what is known as ligands NGK2D. There are eight variants, one in particular has drawn the attention of researchers because it takes liquid form.
