Phew! This has been a whirlwind of a first half of the school year or what ?!
I feel like it was just last week that they were under our great magnolia tree bearing the first day of school photos in our shorts! We are now well into the school year, wrapped in sweaters and snow gear, and I feel really fell into a morning routine this year.
Not only are my children a year older (read: less dependent on me to get dressed, brush teeth, babies do not need to be breastfed, etc.) , but this now Momma seasoned school has learned the art of class schedule morning breakfast … and I love it.
‘ve never been much of a meal planner – not yet follow a menu for lunch and dinner, but definitely have breakfast at a rotation morning for school and that makes it run much smoother
Fridays are days of breakfast biscuits for a couple of reasons!
Friday Frankly I want to sleep a little. (Is that selfish ?!)
I love. I have a stash of breakfast biscuits in the freezer and all you have to do is take them out to thaw on Thursday night before going to bed, and in the morning I got a plate of biscuits, boiled eggs and a jar of raw milk and my 6 and 4 years old can serve themselves -. my 2 year old can even handle most of herself
I also like breakfast Day Friday biscuit because they are easy to eat.
By Friday my old of 2 and 4 years have somehow had to for the week. Sometimes they end up sleeping in this case * * Mom wakes kiddos not sleep unless absolutely necessary! breakfast biscuits and boiled eggs can go right to the door of the school to make it very easy.
I’ve been spinning in my freezer stash breakfast of biscuits between my last biscuit breakfast Lemon biscuits breakfast , and earlier this winter have created these cookies breakfast with molasses. I am very happy to share this recipe with you – it has a totally different from the other cookies basis and my new secret addition to all my breakfast biscuits – gut healing, protein collagen grassfed !
The amount of collagen I took a while to reach the ground, but these cookies are filled with collagen without the heavy feeling or ” gelatinous “. They are super light and soft and tasted amazing. If you like molasses as we can use more of molasses compared with honey. This recipe is light in flavor of molasses, as can be strong for some people, but Molasses is a fantastic sweetener of choice because it is loaded with minerals.
even recommend adding some spices like cinnamon bread ginger, cloves, nutmeg and ginger to make you feel like a cookie ginger! So good! Another option would be to make smaller cookies for snacks go or lunchbox additions.
