Mind Lab Pro as a supplement is labeled “Advanced Nootropic”. It is intended to give a competitive advantage in business, school, sports, work and life. Here’s our opinion.
What is Mind Lab Pro?
Mind Lab Pro is a dietary supplement containing a mixture of ingredients nootropics. This nutritional supplement promises to provide benefits such as:
– improve memory
– accelerate learning
– Improve problem solving skills
– Achieve optimal brain health
– Avoid related cognitive decline with age
by taking the daily supplement, you can enjoy the benefits in the short term and long term, as mentioned above.
The nootropic has the unique distinction of being caffeine free, allergen-free, 100% natural and safe for both vegetarians and vegans for use. We review a lot of nootropics that are loaded with stimulants and synthetic formulas, so it’s refreshing to see that Mind Lab Pro is not one.
So how Mind Lab Pro work? How much? Read on to find out more.
How Mind Lab Pro Work?
Mind Lab Pro uses a mixture of 11 nootropic ingredients. These ingredients have been well studied and can be found in many other nootropics on the market today. Fortunately for us, Mind Lab Pro also includes dosage information with each ingredient – so it is easy to compare the benefits of each ingredient for the major clinical trials
key ingredients include all of the following characteristics:
– Cognizin (citicoline) – 250mg
citicoline is a precursor of phosphatidylcholine, which increases the production of “neurites” in the brain. Neurites are structures protecting neurons. In one study, healthy adult women between the ages of 40 and 60 were divided into three groups. One group took 250 mg of choline, the other took 500 mg of choline, and third took a placebo for 28 days. By the end of the study, choline groups were “significantly better” when answering test questions correctly. These effects were observed in both the 250mg and 500mg groups. You can read the full study here .
– phosphatidylserine (Soy-Free) – 50mg
In one study, participants took 300 mg of phosphatidylserine daily for 6 months and showed significant improvements in performance cognitive compared with people taking a placebo. Obviously, the dose of 50 mg of Mind Lab Pro is six times lower than the dose, but the manufacturer still hope you will enjoy some benefits.
– Hericium Erinaceous (lion’s mane mushroom) – 500mg
This popular Asian mushroom recently demonstrated efficacy in a Japanese study, where participants between the ages of 50 and 80 with impaired mild cognitive took 1,000 mg of Mane lion three times a day for 16 weeks. This group showed a significant improvement in test scores. However, what the manufacturer Mind Lab Pro does not mention is that participants in this trial were tested again after they stopped taking the fungus, and test results “significantly decreased”. You can see that the study here .
– Rhodiola Rosea (Root) – 50mg
One study Rhodiola rosea (an herb native Russia), was shown to stimulate brain activity and improve mental work capacity. This study , however, was to take 340 mg of extract of Rhodiola rosea, which is more than 6 times the amount used in Mind Lab Pro. He also was a pilot study involving 10 participants, so it was not a big baseline study.
– L-Theanine – 125 mg
L-theanine is one of the most popular on the market today nootropic ingredients. L-theanine is an amino acid found in tea leaves that resembles the chemical structure of glutamate. Its efficiency and increase focus, concentration and cognition has been shown on several occasions in recent years, so I will not go into too much evidence here. It is generally takes at a dose of 200 mg.
– N-acetyl-L-Tyrosine – 175 mg
N-acetyl-L-tyrosine stimulates the production of neurotransmitters such as dopamine, norepinephrine and epinephrine into your body. The dose of L-tyrosine in Mind Lab Pro is very small: usually, studies with L-Tyrosine recommend a dose of 150 mg per kg of body weight. So a person of 80 kg would be to take a dose of 12,000 mg per day.
– Vitamin B6 – 2.5 mg
Vitamin B helps restore levels of neurotransmitters that are depleted by stress. It is a B vitamin found in popular energy drinks. In a related study on the website of Mind Lab Pro, participants took 20 mg of vitamin B6 for 2 years and found to have reduced cognitive impairment.
– Bacopa monnieri – 150 mg
Bacopa monnieri is a known nootropic compound that has shown some modest benefits, but nothing too amazing. One study gave participants 300 mg Bacopa extract daily for 12 weeks, after which the participants who have increased information processing and memory of those taking a placebo were observed. However, human studies on a wide scale of organizations are still lacking confidence with Bacopa monnieri.
– Pterostilbene – 500mcg
Pterostilbene works supposedly similar to resveratrol, which is the antioxidant found in red wine and blueberries way. However, it has greater bioavailability.
– Vinpocetine – 6 mg
vinpocetine is another popular nootropic compound. It has been extensively researched in recent years and is one nootropic with mountains of evidence supporting their cognitive benefits. Unfortunately for Mind Lab Pro, vinpocetine is typically taken at a minimum of 30 mg daily dose, users have experience of taking 60 mg or more -. So the dose here is relatively small
– Huperzine A – 200 mcg
Huperzine A inhibits the chemical that kills acetylcholine in the brain. To support the inclusion of Huperzine A, the creators Mind Lab Pro link for this 2002 Chinese study in 202 patients diagnosed with ADHD had Huperzine-A or a placebo. The researchers concluded the following: “A safe and effective drug, Huperzine Alfa greatly improves cognition, behavior, ADL, and the mood of patients with AD”. Patients received 400 mcg of Huperzine A daily for 12 weeks.
Ultimately, all the ingredients of Mind Lab Pro are backed by real scientific evidence. Doses are clear and not hidden behind proprietary formulas. Yes, there are some ingredients – such as vinpocetine – with relatively small doses. But in general, the formula should work as advertised to increase cognitive ability.

must be used to boost Mind Lab Pro cognition?
Mind Lab Pro appears to be a safe, effective and natural nootropic formula containing a clever mix of ingredients in the right doses. Like most nootropics currently being sold online, doses are slightly lower than the recommended amounts, but Mind Lab Pro also includes a drill for most of the ingredients.
Given that information, Mind Lab Pro should be able to work as advertised to help improve your energy and cognitive approach.
