A. We have developed brain of Joe Foster Smoothie several years. The video at the top of this article shows the ingredients and how to make the batter.
The reasoning behind the batter is to provide adequate high-quality protein in addition to the benefits of berries quantities. There is substantial evidence that cranberries in particular, may help preserve cognitive function ( Gerontology , online, August 16, 2012 ). In this review, the author notes that:
“There is accumulating evidence that eating blueberries may be a strategy to prevent or even reverse the neuronal deficits related to age and its manifestations subsequent behavior, to increase healthy aging. research suggests that polyphenolic compounds found in blueberries exert their beneficial effects either through their ability to reduce oxidative stress and inflammation or directly by altering the signaling involved in neuronal communication. These interventions, in turn, may protect against age-related deficits in cognitive and motor function. ”
often add blackberries and raspberries blueberries into the batter. They also have anthocyanins (polyphenols) similar to those found in blueberries colors.
If you want to increase the amount of protein in the batter, you can add egg white powder and / or pasteurized egg whites. frozen bananas add a little sweetness and texture, and often add flax seeds freshly ground well, for more omega-3 fatty acids and lignans anti-inflammatory. Some people do not like the slightly gritty texture that flaxseed adds, however, so check it to determine their own preferences
