Homemade Tooth Powder Recipe For Whitening And Remineralizing Tooth

My tooth paste remineralizante is one of my most visited entries and have received a lot emails from people who have changed and I love it. After my husband and I remineralised inverted teeth and cavities, I am definitely a convert to natural tooth pasta and a diet support.

I have also recently discovered the many benefits of healing clays and wanted to find a way to incorporate this into our system of oral health, but there were some problems definitive texture with clays and coconut oil.

I was wondering if a tooth powder healing work and I could not be happier with the results. It is easier to make toothpaste and can be used in real herbs and spices powder instead of essential oils that saves money. I recently started using a mixture of this and OraWellness brushing my teeth Blend and have never felt cleaner (and continue to whiten!).

Why tooth powder?

The main ingredient of this tooth powder is bentonite clay, I’ve recently become a big fan of. Not only bind and remove heavy metals and toxins (a big plus for the mouth!), But is alkaline and full of minerals.

can be taken internally to help with the elimination of toxins so it is safe for use in the mouth and containing calcium, magnesium and silica, which draws on the teeth! According Mountain Rose Herbs:

Bentonite is very unusual in that once hydrated, electrical and molecular components of the clay and produce a rapidly changing “electric charge”. Its highest power lies in the ability to absorb toxins, impurities, heavy metals and other internal contaminants. The bentonite clay structure assists it attract and absorb the poison in its outer wall and then slowly drawing them inward clay center, where it is held in a kind of repository.

To put it another way …

is swelling bentonite clay. When it becomes mixed with water it swells quickly open as a highly porous sponge. From here toxins are drawn into the sponge through electrical attraction and once there, are required.

is also very smooth and has a milder taste for children. Also use bentonite clay to facial masks, poultices and healing when the hair is dried naturally to maintain color.

The other ingredients are supportive of the mouth, like this:

  • Sodium bicarbonate is alkaline and contains minerals. It also helps remove stains.
  • calcium powder provides extra calcium to provide minerals and bleach.
  • Nails powder is naturally antibacterial and gives a great flavor.
  • Cinnamon is also antibacterial, tastes great and helps discourage the growth of bacteria in the mouth.
  • Mint tastes great and is soothing to the gums.
  • The xylitol completely optional and adds sweetness.

Tooth in Ingredients dust

  • 4 tablespoons of bentonite clay
  • 3 tablespoons calcium powder
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda (optional)
  • powder 2 tablespoons mint leaf (optional, or you can use the essential oil) -. Powder in a blender, food processor or coffee grinder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (or such)
  • 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of clove powder
  • 1 tablespoon (or more to taste) xylitol powder
  • essential oils for taste- completely optional, but peppermint, spearmint and cinnamon are good.

Instructions tooth powder

Mix the ingredients in a bowl or glass jar pint sized and store in a small glass jar with lid . In fact, we have a separate small glass bottle for each member of the family since we dip our toothbrushes in it. Mix with a spoon or stir to incorporate ingredients. This recipe makes about ¾ cup tooth powder that lasts us months. The recipe can be adjusted up or down (Use teaspoons instead of tablespoons of smaller amounts).

This will last indefinitely at the counter as there is no liquid ingredients and all the ingredients naturally discourage bacterial growth. You can customize the powder to your taste and all herbal ingredients are optional. Bentonite or sodium bicarbonate really would work alone or together as a tooth powder, this is simply tastes great. You can also add more cloves, mint and cinnamon for an even more concentrated. This type of cinnamon has a higher concentration of beneficial oils and has a sweeter taste.

Using tooth powder

Wet the toothbrush (I use a brush Bass OraWellness as it is super soft gums and cleans better) and immersion in the powder. I also add a few drops of OraWellness brushed Blend. Brush the use of the Bass brushing technique until the teeth are clean. Rinse with cold water. It can be used daily (or several times a day) and is fine for adults and children.

My Health Oral Regimen

My teeth have never been whiter or healthy (according to my dentist) thanks to my regimen of oral health. It includes a healthy diet that supports oral health and specific brushing regime. This is what I do every day (which invests cavities for both my husband and I):

Brush with powder activated carbon to remove bacteria, eliminate toxins and whiten- do this every day but now every couple of days.

Toothbrush with powder or paste remineralizing teeth with a few drops of Brush Blend.

Rinse mouth.

finish my rubbing a few drops of Brush mixing in my gums and tongue to discourage the growth of bacteria, especially at night (and because it tastes great!).

Repeat one or more times a day!

What is your oral health routine? ever used a natural product? Reversed a cavity? I’d love to hear about it later!
