The Elena Rubin serenity Calming Cream ($ 49) interested me its long list of soothing botanicals. I’m approaching fifty and I had thread veins and rosacea occasional outbreaks during most of my adult life. I’ve been doing well with Medik8 Red Alert , but I still have more than a blush to the nose and cheeks as he pleased. Elena Rubin The product does not contain any of the same active ingredients found in red alert Medik8, which seemed to be a good addition to my routine care of normal skin.
My first impression was that the cream was silky and light, pale blue in color and with a pleasant floral fragrance that quickly faded.
The cream felt a little heavy on my skin, in contrast to its light, buttery feel on my fingers. It was almost a feeling that clog the pores, and that worried me. However, I used the cream every day and did not shoot, so little unpleasant feeling did not indicate any problem. It absorbs quickly, so maybe that’s the secret.
I realized quickly fading bulbous red nose and cheeks when I used the cream but does not seem to be a long-term effect. I have still enough product to continue using it for a month or two, so maybe it takes more time to see something more permanent. This became my go anytime I wanted to do a quick errand and do not bother with makeup, however. Just dab a pearl size was enough to tone down red and make me look a little less like a cousin of Rudolph. I also discovered that a couple of bombs on my lotion mixed after the usual shower helped with any itching after shaving her legs. Although this product has a very reasonable price as a facial product, which is a bit high for everyday use in the legs, but I thought it was a feature worth mentioning. These botanical products really work.
So what’s in the serenity Calming Cream? The base consists mainly of shea butter, glycerine, caprylic / capric (coconut oil) and tocopherol (vitamin E). It also contains beta-glucan , a polysaccharide which when taken as a supplement, it is reported to have immune-enhancing properties. Topically, it is thought to promote healing of skin and collagen synthesis.
When it comes botanicals, serenity cream calm has several heavy hitters, including calendula used for burns, rashes and other skin irritations, and horse chestnut, which is well known for its ability to improve vascular health and help reduce the appearance of broken capillaries. Chamomile also makes an appearance, like turmeric, both of which are known for their anti-inflammatory properties.
Generally, it is just like uncomfortable in this product. The strange heavy feeling in my not chutzpah and at least in my case was not an indication of any real problem. The product has an affordable price for the number of botanical useful containing and although I am disappointed that there is no evidence of long-term effects, which offers short-term and makes a good addition to the arsenal of any reddish woman cheeks .
