pigmentation refers to irregular area dark caused by consistent fever melanin pigment to the skin surface as a result of the application endless harmful beauty products or cosmetics, contaminants flowing freely or exposure to sunlight extreme. Melanin is the pigment responsible for the color intensity of the skin. This dark spot is produced as a shaped spot on the outer surface.

The skin care products and gels used to treat skin pigmentation can be counterproductive due to allergies and defined reactions caused by them. It should also be considered that cosmetics are an important group of reasons that lead to skin pigmentation.

Due to this reason Ayurveda may have an advantage in treating discoloration or dark patches of skin.

Ayurvedic practice used in this process is called aushadhi. Ausadhi combines usnodaka, drink boiled water, herbal preparations. Herbs vary from one individual to another depending on the dosha or body type. Ayurveda is a personalized form of treatment that aims to treat each separately based on their specific needs and problems.

Ayurveda suggests the very popular combination of washing, cleansing, toning and moisturizing the skin, which is currently proposed by most skin treatments. The main difference lies in the fact that Ayurveda uses organic elements for the above processes.
